HON Single Driver Full Range
HON Dual Driver FailalPro Horn
HON Dual Driver Heil AMT
Traditional speakers fall into two main categories: Box type speakers and exotics such as electrostatics, open baffle, pure horns, ribbons, planars and various types of unique drivers. Each has its strengths and weaknesses.
Our designers at Shinjitsu Audio have chosen what we feel are the best combinations of tried and true audio technologies and seamlessly blended them into one outstanding combination. Our goals are real life dynamics and accurate tonality. Accurate within 5 dB from 36Hz to 20Khz
The full range driver back loaded horn version presents a crossover less option for those who prefer this experience.
The optional melding of the back loaded horn with either a compression driver or Heil AMT presents arguably the best in its class of tonality, dynamics and impact and comes closer to a realistic portrayal of music than we have personally experienced.
The Full Range Speaker employs our acclaimed Mark Audio Pluvia 7PHD full range driver - 36 Hz to 20 Khz.
The Dual Driver Speakers utilize a Swan designed bronze and aluminum alloy Precision Coated extended range driver. This remarkable driver is designed in Canada by Frank Hale, former president and founder of Swans and manufactured to his specs then modified with our proprietary cone coating to reduce the resonance frequency and depress ringing.
All versions use a 5.5 foot long folded Japanese designed Baltic Birch back loaded horn to provide extended bass down to an F3 of 36 Hz at one meter.
The dual driver versions utilize either an ESS Heil AMT or FaitalPro compression driver from 2000Hz to 20,000 Hz.
We have married an Italian FaitalPro HF111 Phenolic compression driver with a cast aluminum Italian Faital Pro STH100 Horn. The Mundorf Aluminim EVO Oil high pass capacitor provides additional smoothness.
