Atom Horn Engine — Compact High-Frequency Horn Platform

Compact High-Frequency Horn Engine

Designed to work with your existing speakers — this is not a standalone speaker.

Focused Air. Precise Detail. Compact Control

The Atom Horn Engine was designed specifically for compact speakers, smaller rooms, and real-world listening.

Bedroom systems.

Office systems.

Apartment systems.

Late-night listening.

The kind of environments where people often listen at lower volume levels...

yet still want the detail, articulation, imaging, and spatial openness normally associated with much larger systems played loudly.

Operating from the upper frequencies where shimmer, air, sparkle, and spatial detail live, the Atom Horn Engine replaces conventional tweeters with a high-efficiency compression driver and precision horn.

The result is greater clarity, improved separation, controlled directivity, and effortless detail — without overwhelming the scale of smaller speakers.

Fully passive. Fully analog. Fully adjustable.

How It Works

The Atom Horn Engine sits between your amplifier and speaker.

It takes control of the upper frequencies...

while your speaker continues handling the weight and foundation beneath it.

No internal modification required.

The Acoustic Engine

A high-efficiency compression driver...

coupled to a precision constant-directivity horn...

delivers speed, clarity, controlled dispersion, and enormous dynamic reserve.

Operating from approximately ~2.5 kHz upward, the Atom Horn Engine handles the region where shimmer, air, articulation, and spatial detail define the listening experience.

Small rooms often suffer from excessive reflected sound and unstable imaging.

The Atom Horn Engine helps control that behavior by directing more sound toward the listener instead of spraying energy throughout the room.

The result is a more focused soundstage, improved articulation, greater vocal definition, and effortless detail even at lower listening levels.

Instead of forcing a small conventional tweeter to struggle near its limits...

the Atom Horn Engine operates with massive reserve while remaining compact, controlled, and easy to integrate.

Continuum Tuning Array

The Continuum Tuning Array lets you shape both crossover engagement and horn level...

so the system works with your speaker and your room — not against it.

Continuum Capacitor Array

Three selectable crossover profiles:

  • Prominent — more forward presence
  • Neutral — balanced
  • Relaxed — smoother presentation

Dial it in... then refine further if desired.

Continuum Resistor Array

Adjust the horn level to match your system:

  • Bold — increased presence
  • Neutral — balanced output
  • Relaxed — softer presentation

Simple control. Proper integration.

Integration

  • Horn aligned flush with front speaker baffle
  • External crossover and tuning access
  • No cabinet modification required
  • The supplied resistor array covers the overwhelming majority of systems and listener preferences. Because every room, amplifier, and loudspeaker behaves differently, some advanced users may choose to explore additional resistor values beyond the supplied tuning set. Compatible non-inductive resistors are inexpensive and readily available from common speaker parts suppliers such as Parts Express, Madisound, Solen and Amazon

Connections

Amplifier → Atom Horn Engine → Speaker

The full 2-way crossover is built into the plinth.
