By accessing or purchasing from this website, you agree to the following terms. Please review them carefully before placing an order.

1. Product Availability & Build Process

Built to Order

All Shinjitsu Audio products are built to order. Lead times are estimates and may vary based on parts availability and current shop workload. We reserve the right to update product details, pricing, or availability at any time without prior notice.

2. Component & Cosmetic Substitutions

We are a small-batch boutique manufacturer, not a mass-production factory.

  • Natural Materials: Wood grain, finish tone, and figure are natural characteristics of solid hardwood. No two baffles or plinths will look identical. These variations are a feature of the material, not a defect.

  • Electronic Components: Global supply chains fluctuate. Shinjitsu Audio reserves the right to substitute internal components (resistors, capacitors, wiring, or mounting hardware) if specific original items are unavailable.

  • The Performance Guarantee: Any substitution will be of equal or superior quality to the original design. Substitutions will never negatively affect sound quality, reliability, or safety.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that these variations are normal in hand-crafted production.

3. Orders & Payment

Orders are not considered accepted until payment is processed and a confirmation email is sent. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our sole discretion, including cases of suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or inventory errors.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping timelines provided at checkout are estimates.

  • Carrier Delays: Delays caused by shipping carriers (UPS/FedEx) or customs processing are beyond our control.

  • Tracking: Tracking information will be provided via email once your order has physically shipped.

5. Returns & Refunds

Returns are governed by our Returns Policy.

  • Authorization: All returns require an approved RA# (Return Authorization Number).

  • Fees: A 20% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns.

  • Shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Condition: Products must be returned in pristine condition in original packaging. Refunds are issued only after inspection.

6. Warranty

Your purchase is backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty on electrical components.

  • Coverage: Covers manufacturing defects in drivers, crossovers, and wiring.

  • Exclusions: Does not cover cabinet finish, misuse, amplifier clipping/overdriving, or damage caused by improper handling. (See full Warranty page for details).

7. Intellectual Property

All images, designs, acoustic concepts, product descriptions, and written content on this site are the property of Shinjitsu Audio. They may not be reproduced, copied, or used for commercial purposes without express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Shinjitsu Audio is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Incompatibility with specific amplifiers or source equipment.

  • Setup errors or room acoustic issues.

  • Loss of use or time.

9. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements. Continued use of the website indicates acceptance of any changes.
