Horn X2™ Acoustic Engine
Designed to integrate with your existing loudspeakers — this is not a standalone speaker.
Focused Extension. Effortless Detail. Built to Modern Standards.
The Horn X2™ Acoustic Engine was developed for music lovers who appreciate the effortless dynamics, natural realism, and controlled directivity of professional compression driver technology while preserving the character of their existing loudspeakers.
Unlike conventional super tweeters, the Horn X2™ reproduces the entire critical midrange and high-frequency spectrum from approximately 1.5 kHz upward, dramatically reducing the workload placed upon conventional cone drivers while improving transient response, dynamic range, imaging precision, and low-distortion performance.
Vocals become more lifelike. Brass gains effortless realism. Strings exhibit greater texture. Cymbals retain their shimmer without harshness. The presentation becomes larger, cleaner, and remarkably effortless even at modest listening levels.
Engineered As A Complete Acoustic System
The Horn X2™ Acoustic Engine is far more than a horn and compression driver mounted together. Every unit is individually assembled, wired, tested, and acoustically optimized before shipment.
Each Acoustic Engine includes:
- B&C ME45 Constant Directivity Horn
- Beyma CD171 FE/PK Compression Driver
- Shinjitsu Audio™ Continuum Crossover Architecture
- Premium Air-Core Inductors
- Polypropylene Film Capacitors
- Non-Inductive Precision Resistors
- Integrated Precision L-Pad Attenuation Network
- Heavy Gauge Oxygen-Free Copper Internal Wiring
- Gold-Plated Five-Way Binding Posts
- Furniture-Grade Baltic Birch Internal Structure

Designed Around Music
Every Horn X2™ Acoustic Engine has been voiced through extensive listening with tube amplifiers, Class A amplifiers, solid-state electronics, high-resolution digital playback, and reference-quality vinyl systems.
The objective has never been exaggerated detail or excessive brightness. Instead, the design philosophy centers around natural tonal balance, exceptionally low listening fatigue, outstanding transient response, and the effortless presentation normally associated with significantly larger horn loudspeaker systems.
