Support

Here is the polished, structured text for the Horn Voicing / Tech Support page.

I have organized it to be reassuring and clear, emphasizing that while the Horn X2 PRO looks technical, it is safe and easy to use. I also added the placeholder structure for where your PDF downloads and Calculators would go.

How Shinjitsu Horn Voicing Works

Tuned by listening. Verified by science. Controlled by you.

All Shinjitsu Audio horn systems—whether our complete loudspeakers or the standalone Horn X2 PRO—share the same core philosophy: the horn is voiced by listening, not by recalculating the speaker.

We believe you should be able to tailor the sound to your room without needing an engineering degree.

Visible vs. Invisible Control

While the interface looks different depending on the model, the control method is identical.

  • Complete Speakers (Little Hiro, Foundation): The crossover is internal and protected. You make subtle voicing adjustments via accessible resistor ports on the rear.

  • Horn X2 PRO: We use an "X-Ray" design. The crossover is fully visible on the top deck. This allows you to see, understand, and interact with the circuit directly.

Is It Safe to Touch?

Yes.

The exposed components on the Horn X2 PRO might look like industrial machinery, but they are perfectly safe.

  • No Shock Risk: The system operates at low speaker-level voltage, not wall power. You can touch the components while the system is playing without any risk of electric shock.

  • No "Self-Destruct" Button: The tuning options are limited to a safe range. There is no setting that can blow your speakers or damage your amplifier.

The Three Voicing Profiles

Every system we sell includes three sets of Horn Voicing Inserts (Resistors). These do not change the crossover frequency or phase—they simply adjust the output level of the horn to change how "forward" or "laid-back" the presentation feels.

1. Neutral (Factory Default)

  • The Sound: Balanced, linear, and accurate.

  • When to use: Start here. This represents the "Reference" sound of the system.

2. Bold

  • The Sound: Increased presence and "air." Moves the vocal stage forward.

  • When to use: Ideal for large, carpeted rooms that absorb treble, or for listeners who love the immediate "live" sensation of horn dynamics.

3. Relaxed

  • The Sound: Softer attack, warmer presentation. Moves the stage slightly back.

  • When to use: Perfect for small, bright rooms with hardwood floors/glass, or for "late night" listening sessions where you want a smoother vibe.
