The Little Hiro is a direct adaptation of our flagship Horn X2 + Foundation architecture, engineered for the listener who demands an unshakeable acoustic foundation within a smaller footprint. By focusing on internal motor speed and structural rigidity, we have created a system that delivers the immediacy and "live" feel of a large-scale horn [1] system in a cabinet designed for flexible placement.

Internal Speed, External Precision

The heart of the Little Hiro is its internal 4-liter volume—a pressurized vault constructed from ¾″ Baltic Birch. Within this enclosure, the Mark Audio CHR-70 functions as a high-speed internal woofer, providing a rich foundation that digs down to ~50 Hz. This internal agility is perfectly paired with the Beyma CD171 FE/PK compression driver and a compact B&C aperture. This combination ensures that the treble remains effortless and dynamically alive, maintaining the internal balance of the signal at any volume.

The Sanctity of Internal Logic

While the Little Hiro features an open-architecture crossover for user adjustability, the internal phase-coherency of the design is never compromised. The top-mounted interface allows you to fine-tune the horn [2] via a swappable capacitor and resistor network (Neutral, Bold, or Relaxed). This ensures the internal logic of the 2nd-order crossover matches your room acoustics without requiring a breach of the cabinet or an alteration of the internal wiring.
